How to Shop Green For Christmas

This comes a little late because most are probably close to done with their shopping. Green Guide offers these tips in their December issue:
Be thoughtful about your purchases and pick items built to last. Even greener options don't make good gifts if they end up in an attic or landfill after the holidays.
Pick products made from recycled or renewable materials.
Look for fairly traded imports, such as jewelry, housewares and handicrafts.
When in doubt, buy food. Organic, Fair Trade Certified and locally grown foods and gifts baskets are a safe bet and usually don't go to waste.
